U Head Jack
U Head Jack (also called U-Head Screw Jack or U-Head Jack Base) is a scaffolding and formwork component used to support beams and slabs in construction. It consists of a U-shaped head at the top (to hold beams or formwork) and a threaded steel rod that allows height adjustment. Main Uses: Formwork support – placed at the top of scaffolding to hold timber beams or steel channels that support concrete slabs. Height adjustment – the screw thread allows precise leveling and alignment of formwork or scaffold platforms. Load distribution – helps transfer the load from the beam evenly into the scaffold structure. Versatility – compatible with H-frames, shoring systems, and cuplock scaffolds. Material: Usually made of heavy-duty steel with hot-dip galvanization or painted finish for rust resistance. Shape: The “U” head cradle design prevents beams from slipping and keeps the formwork stable. Available specifications: 27mm×400mm 27mm×600mm 32mm×400mm 32mm×600mm
